Biographies

No life is an ordinary life. As your biographer, your bio will reveal how your life is different and important. Your bio will not just be a collection of facts assembled in chronological order. Your bio will draw insight from your everyday activities and capture what is exciting and significant about your life. Your bio will reflect how you want to be perceived, be effective and inspiring!

Your bio will state your ‘claim to fame’!
  • What are you known for? What do you do that makes a difference? What is it you do for a living?
  • Will tell your story. Your bio will be a written account of the important events that make up your life, your successes, the noteworthy events and tragedies in your life.
  • Your biography is not your resume. Your accomplishments will be included as they relate to your audience and purpose.
To create your bio we will explore:
  • What interests you, what has influenced and inspired you! What are you passionate about? What are you most proud of? What do you enjoy doing and why?
  • What is your purpose and who is the audience for your bio? A bio is a fun way to ‘put yourself out there’ and gives you a say in what people think about you.
  • Your bio can be formal or funny, personal or professional.

The Short or the Long of it! Short biographies convey basic information about you of interest to your audience. I will create a short bio that is specific and conveys the most important details of your life in an interesting, clear and concise manner! Displays what sets you apart! Long bios are more general, detailed accounts of the most important events of your life that will be of interest to your audience. I will create a long bio that includes humanizing details.

Why Should You Have a Bio! A winning bio can make all the difference! Your bio will be that all important first impression to professional colleagues, to college application boards, to potential business clients, to anyone. Long or short, the bio I create for you will be effective and inspiring!
